THE BELSNICKLES

I love Christmas and for me, there is nothing more perfect than a Belsnickle Santa!

I created these boys from my deep love of the old world Santa and am so pleased with the way they turned out.

The double lined Red Wool Belsnickle measures 11" tall and is mounted to an antique funnel.

The Black Belsnickle has been made from quality designer fabric with a contrasting red fabric and measures 12" tall. He is mounted to an antique wooden funnel.

Both are one-of-a-kind creations and come to you just in time for the holiday season. Each has been created from stained and painted muslin and each has been doted over, giving much attention to every detail.

RUSTY'S TANNENBAUM

Rusty is an ole Snow Rabbit I created for the holiday season. From outward appearances, he looks like another Snow Rabbit but in his heart, he is a rough and tumble Woodsmen ready to take on the biggest of fir trees for Christmas.

Rusty is a rag stuffed rabbit, made of stained and painted osnaburg with stitched features and woodsy accents. His vest is completely lined but has a few worn and frayed areas. Both his vest and hat are completely trimmed in vintage tinsel. His sweet bowlegs have old worn boots with a little rusty bell across the bridge of his foot and the boots are permanently attached. Rusty carries a wonderful tree ready to display your holiday cheer, adorned with rusty bells. He has been made from a KY Prim pattern and measures 25" tall.

Rusty can be displayed on a doll stand (not included) like I have pictured him. If you prefer, you can pose him in a seated position, nestled among other festive holiday decor or you can hang him from a loop in the back. Whichever way you choose to show off your woodsman, his gentle appearance and sweet spirit will be the one handmade that catches the eye of all that enter your home.

PAPPY

Meet Pappy - a sweet elf who served as Santa's right hand man for many years.

Good old Pappy is an endearing soul who was not quite ready to retire and draw a pension check. Instead, you will find him these days out tending the reindeer out in the barn instead of busting the conveyor belt on the toy assembly line.

Pappy is a one of a kind, made from clay and muslin. This sweet chap consumed many hours, and was created with much attention to every last detail.

Pappy has a wonderful festive suit made from quality quilting materials with a hip pocket filled with candy for the young-uns and a breast pocket that holds a handkerchief like all the gentlemen carry. His striped pants tuck into his worn out boots with rusty bells attached at the toe.

This is a large piece - Pappy and his "boys" stand 21" tall - and is totally freestanding. All pieces are firmly mounted to a piece of solid prim oak.

Photos do not capture all the wonderful detail of this ole boy and his reindeer, but it will be a piece that you will treasure for years and years. He will steal the eye of all who enter your home, humbly nodding as folks admire his simple grandeur.
