This Lil Halloween Elephant has been hand made by me – Elena of “My Primitive Sistas”. I made her from an aged and distressed Mohair fabric. This Elephant is about 10” tall. She is completely handmade.

Every stitch is done by hand. Her head, legs and arms are 360 degree movable and have been Five-way loosely jointed with hardboard disks. Elephant has been stuffed with wood wool (like OLD bears and bunnies and elephants), wool and pea gravel. So, she is heavy Elephant.

Her loose joints and a little bit of understuffing gives her that "Olde" huggable feel. Her eyes are real old shoe buttons. Her face has been sculpted and shaded for definition. Elephant's Paw Pads are made from the 100%Wool fabric, that has been aged as well.

This Teddy Elephant is wearing a dress made from a vintage reproduction print, 100% cotton fabric. The dress is outlined with hand-stitched linen thread, country buttons, with a tag featuring a vintage Teddy bear image which has been pinned to his clothes with rusty pin. The bunny which is one her outfit is a stamp from Sewing Stars. This Cozy Elephant could be a perfect addition to your vintage collection.
